nice ! March 8, 2010 T. ross (Chicago, IL)
I have very low hot water pressure in my apartment do to greedy Landlords. The pressure is so low it takes a whole minute to build up enough pressure for the water to even come out of the shower head.
This showerhead has made my showers so much more bearable now. My trickle of water can now be sprayed across the shower by adjusting the head upward.
Simple and Powerful March 6, 2010 Joe D I wanted one that didn't have a billion settings to fool around with (because my last couple like those broke). And this Delta has the perfect spray for being so simple. I usually prefer super high pressure water, but I actually keep this Delta on the water saver mode cause the 'Normal/High Pressure" setting is maybe even a little too powerful for me.
As good as the prior reviews said March 5, 2010 Gregory V. Moser Had a low flow shower head which I'd cleaned with vinegar often to try to restore function. Decided to try this one based on the reviews and our somewhat low water pressure at one end of the house. The results were so amazing, I bought a second one and gave a third away as a present for a friend with a similar problem. It shortens my shower a lot because it has lots of pressure and great coverage, so you rinse off fast. My only gripe is it is a bit long, so I need to duck to wash my hair.
It's so good, I had to get a second one :) February 25, 2010 Irene Friedman (San Rafael, CA USA) I was looking for an affordable shower head to replace the expensive one I bought that wasn't worth the cost. (Fortunately, I was able to return it.) When the shower head arrived from Amazon, I immediately took it upstairs to install. The showerhead felt substantial in my hands, not too 'cheap' and not too heavy. I couldn't believe how easy it was to install and how quick too (about 30 seconds.) I was almost afraid that I had done something wrong because it was so easy. I turned it on and everything seemed fine, no leaks or spurts.
I've had the showerhead for a couple of weeks now. It performs wonderfully; like having my own steam shower! It's also extremely strong considering it's a low flow showerhead. I haven't found it necessary to adjust it to amplify the water pressure because it's already stronger than I had imagined it would be.
All said, I've been extremely satisfied with the shower head that I ordered a second one for my guest bathroom!
PS ~ It also makes me feel better about my time spent in the shower because it's energy efficient as well as low flow.
Gets the Shower Done February 19, 2010 Jody (New York, NY) We live on a top floor of an old high rise building. The water pressure is minimal in all areas, especially the shower. With a traditional shower head, it feels like a light rain shower, sprinkle and takes a long time for hair to get wet, etc. We tried multiple low-pressure showerheads, including the $6 versions you can get at Home Depot. The Delta Faucet head has been by far the best, though. The mix of air increases the water pressure tremendously. It makes a huge difference in the shower time and overall feel/quality of the shower. I completely recommend you shell out the few extra dollars for this showerhead.
