experience with plumbing to go November 4, 2008 Donna Munden (illinois) The product was not what we wanted so I emailed the supplier, plumbingtogo, that I was returning for a refund and instead of crediting they sent me another faucet. I also enclosed a note with the return and it didn't make a difference. It was over $13 to return the first and now he told me if I want a credit to return it again at another $13. It will cost me nearly $30 to return a product I don't want. The faucet was nice, it just wasn't the right color but the rest of the experience of shopping was not good. I have returned it another time and will wait again to see if I ever get a credit.
Nice Kitchen faucet! October 7, 2008 J. Caffarella (Littleton, MA) I purchased the Price Pfister Marielle faucet set in rustic pewter finish and have been using it in my kitchen for over a year without the sprayer pressure problems or leaks reported by others. In fact, I receive excellent pressure from the sprayer. I did, however lose pressure in the soap dispenser after 6 months of use. Fortunately, I found a replacement online for only $12. The faucet is tall which allows for unobstructed cleaning of large pots and pans. The fittings are brass. The connection of faucet to existing plumbing is made with included screw-type compression fittings, so no soldering is required. The rustic pewter finish is easy to clean and durable. On several occassions, I've accidentally banged the faucet with metal pans and sharp tools, such as putty knives, while cleaning, and the finish was not damaged. Despite what others may have experienced, I'm impressed with design and quality of this the product and am looking to purchase this same faucet set in a bronze finish to better coordinate with granite countertops that are being installed in my kitchen. I recommend this product to others.
Beauty is only skin deep October 1, 2008 T. R. Robbins (Moses Lake, WA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Yes, it is beautiful but it's poorly designed. The sprayer sticks on and the pressure from the main spout was so low I thought it must be plugged up somewhere. I haven't solved the sprayer problem yet but the low pressure at the spout was caused by the diverter valve which is designed to save water by restricting flow(which doesn't happen because you have to let it run for twenty minutes before the water gets hot). I removed the diverter and pulled the plastic center piece out with needle nose pliers and then drilled some small holes in the plastic around the brass stem. Now water flows through the holes instead of being restricted and it works great. The spout doesn't shut off when you use the sprayer but the sprayer still works like before(It won't shut off).
Good faucet - bad sprayer July 1, 2008 Philip T. Newman (Atlanta, GA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The faucet works well - however, we're on our 3rd sprayer. The 1st, the diverter leaked. The 2nd, the handle (that you squeeze) fell off. The 3rd - will not release and return water to the main faucet. Nothing but a pain.
Bad Product March 11, 2008 Suzanne SB (Oklahoma City, OK) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
We bought the Price Pfister Marielle faucet set over a year ago when we got a new Silestone countertop and undermount sink. We have had nothing but trouble. First, we noticed a leak in the sprayer and we assumed it was leaking under the sink into the cabinet below. Fortunately, Price Pfister has a lifetime warranty on parts, so they sent a free replacement. Also the sprayer will not stay seated on the Silestone so when the plumber came out he reseated it and replaced the sprayer. We still had problems with water pressure; we couldn't get a stream of water out of the faucet or use the sprayer without playing around with the two. The plumber said we had a bad diverter and that was causing the problem. So I again contacted Price Pfister and had them send me a "free" diverter. However, it came after the plumber was here and I will have to pay another service call to the plumber to install the "free" diverter. That's upwards of $50 here in Oklahoma City. The downside is that I don't know how long it will last and I don't want to go thru this every few months. The last thing that happened is that the soap dispenser won't work. It would probably work if I took it got underneath the cabinet and checked the problem out but I have two bad knees (knee replacements) and don't like to put a strain on them. I have already tried extensive cleaning of the pump on the dispenser to no avail. I am thinking about replacing the whole thing if I have any more problems.
