I purchased two. These BIO cartridges work great and fit into the disposal perfectly. Make sure you read the directions to ensure the spring in the cap gets released. Also turn on and off the disposal 3 times to prime the cartridge.

We have a special disposal for septic systems and this is a required additive to break down the foods sent through the system. Purchasing it through Amazon saved me 40-50% than if I had purchased it locally.

We have a septic system that, although brand new, can be finicky. I was delighted to find an InSinkErator that had the septic assist option. The cartridges last a few months each, and I use the garbage disposal multiple times per day. It is easy to install and remove. Since we switched to this garbage disposal unit, we haven't had any odors from the sink.
