Product Description
The LTA pumps are completely self contained units that are easy to connect directly to laundry tray tubs. Lightweight and compact, these models eliminate reservoirs, traps, extra fittings, and costly labor. This pump includes a pressure activated switch that turns on the pump when water enters the tub. 1/8hp @ 1670 RPM.115 VOLT 2.2 AMPS.

This pump is very efficient for my needs and the only one I found. Although this is the second one I purchased in the last two years. The first one developed a crack in the pump housing causing it to leak.
I could not find the part, so I purchased another one. Hopefully this one will last longer (the original pump lasted 30 years).

Just received my pump at the end of March and so far no leaks. A breeze to install. One note, the fittings included in the package are of the white PVC variety. If you are going to be running hot water through the pipes it was recommended to me to switch to the black PVC variety to avoid long term warping problems.

After installing a LTA pump and having it and the next 2 leak, I would check to see if the problem was fixed before ordering one. The folks at Plumbing Planet could not have provided any finer customer service (every business should be like them).
The Hartell representative contacted me after my problem was solved by Plumbing Planet and said that they had a bad batch of pumps manufactured and were addressing the problem which should be solved by now, however I would check first. The pump was very easy to install, by the time I was done with my third I could do it in no time.

I received my pump and installed it. It sprayed water every where. I found that the pump plastic casing was cracked. I emailed plumbers planet around 8:30 Pm est. They responded at 11:30 Pm the same night. They instantly sent me an entire new pump. The new pump works like a champ it was easy to install.

I had a question regarding the installation of one of the parts that this unit came with. The customer service agent wasn't certain of the answer, and promised to call me back so that I wouldn't have to sit on hold. UNDER TWO MINUTES LATER she had the answer and called me!
